About Me

“People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care.” – Theodore Roosevelt

I have always had the ability to feel very deeply and being naturally empathetic definitely helped me to easily align with this profession. I fell in love with the field of Psychology early on in my education, however, I quickly learned in college that Psychology was fascinating, but it was very research-oriented. I knew that I did not want to be in a research lab crunching data, but out in the real world helping real people hands on. That is the exact moment I knew I wanted to become a Therapist and learn how to help people and touch lives any way that I can. As a clinician, a genuine therapeutic alliance is everything to me. I offer unconditional positive regard and a warm approach. Come as you are!

I am quite simple so in my free time you can find me relaxing under ambient lighting with my candles on – it’s the little things! I love to practice self-care, listen to jazz, cook, watch Netflix, and spend time with my loved ones, including my 4 year old Sulcata tortoise, Turtle.
