About Me

I love being a mental health clinician because I get the opportunity to meet individuals from all walks of life who continue to teach me new things. I value each interaction I have with my clients, and I love getting to witness when a client “blossoms” and reaches their goals and recognizes their full potential.

I took my first Psychology class in high school and quickly became invested in learning more about the human mind and behaviors. My education also included volunteer service. Through these experiences, I gained a passion for advocating for others and helping them find their voice. Being exposed to the stigma and limits of access/equity to mental health services also motivated me to work towards creating change and helping make therapy more acceptable and accessible to all.

When I’m not working, I usually spend quality time with my loved ones, including my Goldendoodle named Pilot. We love to go on walks, hikes, and visit the beach and dog parks. I also love to travel; I was a flight attendant for 7 years, which gave me the opportunity to visit many beautiful places and meet a lot of interesting people. I enjoy reading, writing, photography, ceramics, crochet, dancing, yoga, playing chess, visiting museums, and attending sporting/music/theater events.
