About Me

As the founder and CEO of Bridges Therapy, it’s my job to make sure everyone has what they need to do their jobs. I’m so proud of our incredible Admin Team, who work tirelessly and devotedly to make sure our Clinicians and Clinical Supervisors are fully supported to do the essential work of providing excellent therapy to our Clients. As a Licensed MFT myself for the past 20+ years, I know how important this work is and how much it takes to do it well. We strive to create a Concierge Experience for our Clinicians so they can focus on what they do best, whilst we deal with all the business and billing and contracting with insurance.

I’ve been fortunate to have had great life experiences that feel like they’ve all led up to this job that I get to do. I was born in what is now Zimbabwe, lived in multiple countries in my childhood, got my undergrad degree in History and Philosophy, served in the Peace Corps in Mauritania in Maternal and Child Health, raised two amazing children, went back to school and became an LMFT, had a private practice and was fortunate to serve two elected terms on the State Board of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), advocating on behalf of over 38,000 therapists in California for better care for clients and clinicians.

They say if you do what you love, you never “work”, and I am beyond fortunate to get to do what I love, every day, even the challenging days! The group of people I get to interact with are the absolute best.

When I’m not working, I love hiking the hills of my beloved Ojai Valley with my dogs, doing yoga or weights, volunteering with my local Rotary Club, fermenting everything I can get my hands on, and supporting local theatre and music.
